Law of Attraction Frequently Asked Questions




Here at Missing Ingredient Coaching I am often asked questions on applying the law of attraction to daily life. It is my experience that many people face the same challenges, so I decided to add a frequently asked questions section to the site. I would not want you to commission me to coach you when the challenge you are facing could be resolved by simply reading this page.    Does the law of attraction really work?

The law of attraction is irrefutable and constantly in action in all people at all times. It is possible that you may think that you have never experienced the law of attraction, and this is one of the most common misconceptions. Many people believe that if they are not rich or if they do not have the dream car, home or business then the law of attraction does not work.

The law of attraction states that you attract the things you focus your thoughts and feelings on the most, so just as your thoughts are sometime positive and sometimes negative, your experiences will sometimes be positive and sometimes negative. But either way the law of attraction is still in action. A result will always be produced; it is up to you to change your thinking so that you will receive less negative results and more positive ones.

Whether you believe in the law of attraction or not it is always at work in your life and all you have to do to experience it in a positive way is to occupy your mind with positive thoughts.



       Why can attract good relationships and good health but I not money?

Simply put you have limiting beliefs blocking your money from coming to you. If you find that you are successfully using the law of attraction in some areas of your life and yet failing in other areas it is time to find out where your blockages lie.

It could also be your actions; perhaps you are not acting as if, do you make believe that you have money, do you talk, walk and act as though you are wealthy? Or do you claim to want more money and yet turn around and state ‘I can’t afford that’?

Next look at your words; when you speak about money do you speak in a positive way, or do you complain about your lack of money? Do you tell your children you don’t have money for certain things and do you discuss your lack of money with friends and family?

How about your thoughts? When you think about money do you feel anxious, do you worry and fret about it?

If you are doing any of these things you are not just blocking money from reaching you but you are actually repelling it, the more negatively you feel, think and speak the further money moves from you.

Also try this exercise; get a note pad and sit down somewhere quite when you have some free time and will not be disturbed. Ask yourself these questions and be brutally honest, you will probably find that based on your answers a pattern will begin to form and you will start to see where you went wrong and what some of your limiting beliefs are.
 

1.    How do I feel about money?
2.    Why do I feel this way about money?
3.    What would I do if I did not feel this way about money?
4.    Is feeling this way helping me or hindering me?
5.    Do I really need to keep feeling this way?
6.    What is stopping me from changing the way I feel?
7.    Where did these feelings about money come from?
8.    When did these beliefs about money begin?
9.    Are my beliefs about money justified?
10.    Would it be so hard to change how I feel?

Then when you have finished, read through your answers to check for similarities, you may find where your negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs came from and then you can question their validity. After that ask your self these last two questions.

1.    Are my feelings mostly positive or negative?
2.    How would I like to feel instead?





     How Can I attract the perfect partner?

The creative process remains the same no matter what it is you want to attract, first you must: -
Ask
Get crystal clear about what it is you want, right down to the finest detail.

Believe
Trust and believe that you can have and deserve to have every single thing that you want.

Receive
Open you heart and mind; act as if, make believe, feel good and let your desire go, leave it in the capable hands of the universe to bring to you.

Attracting your perfect partner requires the same method but if you are not successful as with question #2 you are probably blocking your perfect partner from coming to you in some way, try using the questioning method above but remove the word money and add ‘being in a relationship’ instead.





     I’ve been doing everything that I am supposed to do to attract a new car but six weeks have passed and still nothing is happening, what am I doing wrong?

When you keep track of the amount of time you have been waiting for your desire to manifest, the length of time simply gets longer and longer. I have a system that I use called the “set it and forget it” process for faster manifestations. What I do is get clear about what I want. I write it down in detail, I visualize having it now and I give thanks for receiving. I then take the piece of paper fold it up nice and small and place it in my ‘prayers jar’, after which I go about my life as normal, i.e. I set it as in set my intention and forget.

I do not keep track of how long it has been, I do not complain to others that I have not received yet, I do not set the intention all over again, I simply set it and forget it. I then spend my time and energy on feeling good, I find the sooner I forget my intention and as long as I remain focused on feeling good I manifest very quickly.      I’ve tried other programs online without success, why should I try your guidance program? How is it different from the other systems online?

I will answer your question with a few of my own; were any of the systems you tried before developed specifically for you? I think not. Did the other programs target your individual challenges? Again I think not.

     Is the universe keeping what I want from me?

The universe does not prevent you from having what you want; the only thing that can get in the way of you manifesting your desires is you. The universe is completely loyal, obedient and impartial. It does not think for you therefore it cannot make decisions for you. The only thing the universe knows how to do is respond to your prolonged thoughts, emotion and actions.

The universe will not suddenly think “oh $1,000.000 is too much money for Coach Carol I’ll only give her $1000”. If my predominant thoughts along with positive emotions are focused on 1million dollars then that is exactly what the universe will give me. Period!





    I know I am supposed to feel good to attract what I want but how can I feel good when I am surrounded by bills and have dept collectors beating down my door?

This is one of the most common challenges that people face. I know from experience how hard it is to think positively and feel good when a mountain of bills surrounds you. What really worked for me though was using the questioning method above to find out what my limiting beliefs were and then changing my thinking by bombarding my subconscious. I literally surrounded myself with positive influences. I wrote on the walls and furniture in my home (not highly recommended but I felt the need to do it) I put up post-it notes everywhere, I read inspirational books, I studied the law of attraction, I cut myself off from negative people and situations, I read articles, watched videos and listened to audios. Basically I completely flooded my life with positive influences.

I am not going to give you the usual ‘30 days later’ spiel because that is not a time frame that works for everyone. For me to change my inner conversation about money took about 4 months in total. The time it takes varies with each individual; it depends on the depth of your beliefs and how you go about changing them. I was able to change my beliefs by overloading my subconscious with positive influences and bit-by-bit my new way of thinking became a way of life.

    I hear lots of teachers talking about having an ‘attitude of gratitude,’ is adopting this attitude really that important?

A resounding yes; The universe responds to your feelings more than your thoughts, therefore if for instance you decide that you want a new car because you just cannot stand your old crappy one, the universe is not going to deliver anything to you because the negative frequency that you are emitting regarding your old car is blocking a new one from coming to you.

Most likely every time you get into your old car you complain about the noise it makes or the parts it needs and the rust patches on the body. These emotions are very strong and the universe will pick up on that. You might say ‘I want a new car…’ I would encourage you to end that sentence there, but most likely you do not, most likely you say ‘I want a new car because…’ Now you are entering dangerous territory, the word because is usually a prefix for a whole litany of complaints. So immediately your positive ‘I want a new car’ statement becomes ‘I want a new car because my old one is crappy, it has rust patches, it guzzles too much gas, it makes too much noise…blah blah blah.


If you adopt an attitude of gratitude and apply it to your car your alignment will begin to change, you will now start saying ‘my car and I have had some good times together’ or ‘my car has really lasted a long time’ or ‘I am so grateful that my car is still running’ or I love having my own transportation’. Doesn’t it feel better stating your gratitude rather than your complaints? The universe then gets a loud and clear message that you are grateful for your old car and will immediately begin to lining you up with a brand new car.
